What is Orchestrified Pulse?
Orchestrified Pulse is a new musical project created by Christian Eigner and conductor and composer Riederauer Richárd: a hypnotic, atmospheric musical world where drums, orchestral sounds, male choir and electronic textures come together in an unusual way.
At the heart of the music are Christian Eigner’s original drum compositions: powerful, raw and instinctive. Around them, Riederauer Richárd gradually builds his orchestral and male-choir arrangements, together with the electronic soundscape. The composed passages are opened up by the freedom of improvisation, allowing the music to take unexpected turns and letting the moment shape the direction.
Long musical arcs, repeating rhythms, tension and release alternate throughout. The sound can be raw and monumental, acoustic and electronic, meditative and energetic at the same time.
Orchestrified Pulse does not belong to a single genre. Rather, it is a process that the listener can step into: the music builds, carries you along, and eventually leaves you somewhere else. It does not tell you what to feel. It leaves space for the music to take everyone somewhere different.
